a) ANTI- HUMAN TRAFFICKING CELL
Anti Human Trafficking Cell and Youth Red Cross society of our college in association with Rotary Club, Belman organised a Street play on "Organ Donation and Human Trafficking" on 15 August 2022 at Belman Bus stand. Total 30 students participated. 'Change in society comes with the change in the mindset of the people and street play can rightly achieve that goal', with this motto, our students played role related to human trafficking and its impact on society. They created awareness among the people about the importance of organ donations.

b) NSS
NSS Units, Red-Ribbon Club and Youth Red Crosswing of Dr. NSAM FGC, Nitte in association with 'Rotary Club, Belman, Blood Bank, Udupi, and NitteGajriya Multi Speciality Hospital organized a 'Mega Blood Donation Camp' on 27 July 2022 at college premises. 200 units of blood were collected.

  • NSS Units, Youth Red Cross Society, Rovers & Rangers in association with Rotary Club Belman jointly organised 'International Youth Day' on 12 August 2022 at Sambrama Auditorium. The resource person was Dr. Shashikanth Karinka, Assistant Governor, RI Dist. 3182, Zone 5. 150 students participated in the programme.
  • NSS Units in association with Rotary Club, Belman organised a felicitation programme to the farmers and Plantation of Crops on 24 July 2022 at Kemmanu. 100 students participated in the programme.
  • Swatch Bharath Abhiyan was held on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanthi on 2 October 2022. 100 volunteers participated in the programme.

  • A DAY WITH GOD'S CHILDREN:
  • On 29 December 2021, the NSS Units along with the Alumni Association of Dr. NSAM First Grade College, Nitte organized a visit to Vijetha Special School, Kukkundoor. The program was inaugurated by NSS Officer Mr. Bharath S Bhat . In his speech he shared his views on how important it is to spend time and take care of the children with Intellectual Disability. Mrs. Kanthi Suresh , Headmistress of the school , addressed the gathering and shared the challenges faced by them during the Covid 19 pandemic.
    To break their monotony, our students gave various performances. The program began with prayer song and was followed by cultural program in order to entertain the children. The children of the Vijetha Special School also exhibited their talents .Various other activities and games were arranged for the children .The children spent their whole time with their beautiful smiles and didn't reflect their problems even for a second. A grocery kit worth Rs.13500/- was handed over to them. The NSS officers, Mr. Bharath S Bhat and Ms. Anusha Acharya along with other faculties and NSS Volunteers involved themselves in the program.
    Ms. Anusha Acharya, NSS Officer rendered vote of thanks. Mrs. Kanthi Suresh and Mr. Sachin Shetty hosted the program.
